Welcome to Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Terminal 1.
Direction & Map
Terminal 1 consists of a central circular terminal building and satellites with boarding gates.
The main building houses key functions such as check-in counters, immigration & baggage reclaim.
■ Level 2 – CDGVAL (before security)
CDGVAL station ; Check-in zones 5 and 6 ; Food court ; Lost & Found.
■ Level 3 (before security)
Check-in zones 1 to 4 ; Airline ticketing desks.
■ Level 4 (after security)
Access towards boarding gates ; Duty-free shops.
■ Level 5 – Arrivals
Baggage reclaim area ; Car rental ; Taxis.
■ Levels Blue, Red, Green
P1 car park.
Departures
1. Check-in & Baggage drop
Consult the airport monitors for information concerning check-in area (Halls 1-6) and boarding gate dedicated to your flight.
■ Check-in 5-6 at Level 2
■ Check-in 1-4 at Level 3
2. To gates
Follow the Boarding signage.
Take the escalator up to the next level.
3. Border check (to a Non-Schengen flight)
Have your boarding pass and travel documents ready open at the photo page.
4. To planes
Follow the signs to your satellite/gate.
Satellites are connected to the main building via tunnels.
5. Security check
You will need to go through security check prior to entering the gate areas.
Arrivals
1. Landing
Follow the Baggage-Exit signage on leaving the aircraft.
Proceed to the main building via tunnels.
2. Border check (from a Non-Schengen flight)
Have your boarding pass and travel documents ready open at the photo page.
3. Baggage reclaim & Customs
Look for your flight on the information screens and check the carousel number.
Free baggage trolleys are provided for your use.
You’ll pass French Customs after baggage reclaim, before you enter the public arrivals area.
4. Exit-Arrival hall
Arriving passengers can be met at the Arrivals meeting point located after leaving the baggage claim area (Level 5).

Terminal 1 accommodates a large number of transit passengers at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Airport lounges are located airside, after security.
Premium passengers and select card holders are eligible for complimentary access.

Buses
Terminal 1 is served by :
• Magical Shuttle
• Roissybus
• Buses 350 & 351
• Night buses Noctilien N140 & N143
Taxi
Arriving passengers can use the taxi rank at Arrivals level (Level 5, Exit 24).
Follow the taxi signs while exiting the baggage reclaim area.
If you come to Charles de Gaulle by taxi, you will be dropped off in front of the departures hall.
Trains
RER B suburban trains serve Terminal 1 at station Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1.
This station away from Terminal 1 can be reached via the CDGVAL shuttle train.
TGV mainline services serve Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 station.
This station away from Terminal 1 can be reached via the CDGVAL shuttle train.
Car rental
All of the major car rental companies have representation at Charles de Gaulle airport.
The nearest car rental desks are located at Arrivals level (Level 5, between Exit 24 & 30).
Parking
Park your vehicle at P1 or use PR ECO remote car park, recommended for long stay.
If you are you bringing someone or picking someone up use the Depose-minute -Kiss & Fly- area in front of the departures hall.
Hotels
There is no hotel at Terminal 1.
Please take the CDGVAL shuttle train to reach Charles de Gaulle airport hotels.
