Checking-in & Boarding

Online & Mobile check-in

Use online or mobile check-in to select seats and print your boarding card before you get to the airport.
You can check in directly via the website of your airline, your boarding card is sent directly by mail (to print) or SMS/MMS.
If you only have carry-on baggage you can go directly to the security check and then to your gate.
If you have baggage to check in you can leave it at the Bag Drop desk during your flight’s check-in period.

Airport check-in

You can check in at the airport using the self-service kiosks to choose your seat and print your boarding pass.
If carrying a hold bag, you can check it in at the bag drop.
If you prefer to be checked-in by a member of staff, enjoy their welcome at a check-in desk or bag drop.
The airport monitors will show you which check-in desks you can use to check in for your flight.
Please have the following documents ready with you when you check-in :
– Plane tickets or electronic ticketing number
– Passport, visa if necessary
To avoid long waiting times we recommend using the web check-in.

How early to arrive ?

In order to allow plenty of time for check-in procedures, baggage drop-off and security checks, always arrive at the airport well in advance of your flight.*
Long-haul : 3 hours before scheduled departure.*
European and French domestic flights : 90 minutes before scheduled departure.*

Please consider the times given by your airline for dropping bags, collecting boarding cards and arriving at the gate.
Check the instructions on your ticket and from your travel agent or booking website.

* Passengers using online check-in and do not need to check any baggage :
You can arrive at the airport a bit later than other passengers, directly to boarding gate before the boarding deadline.
Please note that after this time, no additional passengers will be able to board the aircraft.

In the boarding lounge

Keep an eye on the monitors for last minute updates concerning gate numbers and boarding times.
Boarding usually begins around 45 minutes before departure for long-haul flights and 30 minutes before schedule for domestic and medium-haul flights.
Gate closes 10-20 minutes before departure.
In the boarding lounge you will find food courts and shops offering duty-free shopping.

Immigration & Security checks

All passengers must clear security and, if necessary, immigration (to Non-Schengen destinations) before entering the departure lounge.
Proceed towards your boarding gate as soon as possible to avoid any delay to your journey.

Priority access for immigration & security checks :
Premium and select non-premium passengers will be issued an access voucher from their airline.
Follow the signs marked ″Accès no.1″ or ″Sky Priority″.

VAT-Tax refund

Visitors from non-European Union countries can reclaim the sales tax (VAT) on purchases.
When you get to the airport, take your receipt and form to the nearest French Customs desk.
