Terminal 3 at Charles de Gaulle is a budget terminal used by charter and low-cost carriers.
Terminal 3 is open daily during flight departure and arrival hours. At night, from 12:00am to 4:00am, access to the public area is restricted to passengers with a valid boarding pass. Please note that there are no designated areas for overnight stays.

Terminal 3 consists of two buildings : the Departures hall and the Arrivals hall.

Departure
Check the information screens in the terminal to find your flight’s check-in area and boarding gate.
After check-in and baggage drop, follow the Boarding signs. Pass through security check, then head to your boarding gate.
You will need to go through passport control if you are flying to a non-Schengen destination.
Arrival
Follow the Exit-Baggage signs upon arrival. If you are arriving on a non-Schengen flight, you will need to go through passport control. After collecting your baggage, you will pass through French Customs before entering the public arrivals area.
Visitors and passengers can meet at the baggage claim exit in the Arrivals hall.
From and to CDG
Terminal 3 is accessible by train via the RER B station Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1, located a few minutes’ walk away. TGV trains serve the Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 station, accessible via the CDGVAL shuttle. By bus, Terminal 3 is served from the Roissypole bus station by the Roissybus, RATP lines 350 and 351, as well as the Noctilien night buses N140 and N143.
A taxi stand is located in front of the terminal. Pick-ups for ride-hailing services such as Uber, Bolt, and Free Now also take place in front of the terminal.
Car Rental
The car rental companies (Europcar, Sixt, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Alamo…) are located at Terminal 1, Arrivals level (accessible via the CDGVAL shuttle train). The rental counters are open from approximately 6:00am. to 11:00pm.
Parking
Park your vehicle at P3, near the terminal. For long stays, the remote PX ECO car park – accessible via the CDGVAL shuttle train – is recommended.
If you are dropping someone off or picking someone up, use the Dépose-minute (Kiss & Fly) area in front of the terminal.

What time should I arrive at the airport for my departure ?
To ensure a stress-free departure, arrive at the airport well in advance :
■ Long-haul flights
3 hours before the scheduled departure time.
■ Domestic and medium-haul flights
90 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
If you already have your boarding pass and don’t have any checked baggage, you can arrive later at the airport by skipping the check-in counters.

The terminals’ landside areas remain open at night for passengers holding a ticket for an upcoming departing flight. However, there are no designated waiting areas or rest spaces for overnight stays.
Numerous hotels are located near the terminals or within close proximity to the airport.
Where can I rest and take a shower at Charles de Gaulle Airport ?
