Everything you need to know about Navigo Easy, the travel card that stores your tickets for getting around Paris and the Île-de-France region.
Paper tickets will be phased out by the end of 2025.
In some stations, they are already no longer sold.
Tickets are now digital and can be loaded onto a Navigo Easy pass.
Or directly onto your smartphone or smartwatch via the Île-de-France Mobilités app.
What is Navigo Easy ?
Navigo Easy is a physical, reusable travel card made for occasional travelers in Paris and the Île-de-France region. It costs €2 (non-refundable) and can store various transport tickets, such as metro, bus, or RER fares. You can load or reload it at ticket machines, station counters, or via the Île-de-France Mobilités app.
There’s no subscription, no commitment, and it’s completely anonymous — no photo or personal details are required. You can even lend or give the card to someone else if needed.
Please note : each traveler in a group or family must have and validate their own card.
If you’re using a Paris Visite pass, make sure to write your full name on the back of the card in the space provided.
What tickets are available on Navigo Easy ?
Please note, some transport tickets cannot be combined on the same pass (for example, Metro-Train-RER tickets with Paris Region–Airports tickets).
