The RER B line is the fastest link between Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and central Paris, as well as other key destinations in the region such as Parc des Expositions, Le Bourget, Stade de France, and more.
Timetable
RER B trains run every day, including public holidays, with departures approximately every 10 minutes from around 5am to midnight. The travel time between Charles de Gaulle Airport and Paris city center (Gare du Nord or Châtelet-Les Halles) is 30 to 40 minutes.
Ticket and fare
To travel between Charles de Gaulle Airport and any location in the Paris Region, you’ll need a Paris Region-Airports Ticket (€14).
This ticket is available only in digital format. No paper ticket. You have two options to load it:
► On your smartphone, via the Île-de-France Mobilités app.
► On a Navigo Easy card, using the ticket machines in stations. Don’t have a Navigo Easy card? You can buy one already loaded with the Paris Region–Airports Ticket.
To avoid queues, we recommend purchasing your ticket in advance using the Île-de-France Mobilités app.
Please note: The Paris Visite travel pass can be used for airport trips. The standard Métro–Train–RER ticket is not valid for airport journeys. Using it may result in a fine.
Where to catch train
The RER B serves two stations at the airport: one for Terminals 1 and 3 (Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1) and another for Terminal 2 (Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2). To avoid delays or confusion, make sure to check your terminal information before heading to the station.
All RER B trains serve central Paris, with Gare du Nord as the first stop in the city. Other key stations along the route include Parc des Expositions, Le Bourget, La Plaine-Stade de France, Châtelet-Les Halles, and Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame, among others.
From the RER B, you can easily transfer to other metro lines at major hubs such as Châtelet-Les Halles, which provides connections to numerous destinations.
