Traveling to and from Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) is easy thanks to several convenient transportation options. You can travel by train, bus, or taxi, or choose a ride-hailing service for added flexibility. For travelers seeking more comfort, it is also possible to arrange a pickup or book a private transfer in advance.
Traveling by train
CDG Airport is a major hub for train travel, making it easily accessible by rail. TGV trains provide long-distance service to destinations including Bordeaux, Brussels, Lyon, Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy (Disneyland), Strasbourg, and more.
For travel between CDG Airport and central Paris, hop on the RER Line B for a fast and affordable ride to the city. It runs approximately every 10 minutes. The journey takes 35-40 minutes between the airport and Paris-Gare du Nord or Châtelet–Les Halles, where you can connect to several other metro lines.
Traveling by taxi
When traffic conditions allow, taking a taxi is the most convenient and fastest way to reach your destination. Official taxi stands are located in front of the terminals. No surprises : fares between CDG and Paris are fixed. You can also book a private-hire car through your preferred ride-hailing app (e.g. Bolt, Uber).
Traveling by bus
Local and regional services provide connections to destinations such as Paris, surrounding suburbs, Disneyland Paris, and Parc Astérix. Long-distance buses also operate from the Roissypole bus station, linking the airport with major cities across France and beyond.
Hotel shuttles depart from Terminals 2B-2D or Roissypole, near Terminal 3.
Traveling by car
Conveniently located near the A1 and A3 motorways, the airport offers quick access to all regions of France.
Need to park while you’re away ? Choose and book the parking option that best suits your needs. Picking someone up or dropping them off ? Use the ′Dépose-minute′ zones for quick stops right in front of each terminal.
