How to transfer landside to-from a terminal, a train, an hotel ?
Find out how to get around and change terminals within Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport public area.
Once you’re on-site, just follow the signs – and if you’re not sure where to go, don’t hesitate to ask the staff, they’re happy to help. Here are some easy ways to get around the public areas of the airport (before security) :
Between Terminals 1, 2, 3
Between Terminals 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F, 2G
Terminal 2 is divided into multiple sub-terminals: 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F, and 2G.
Terminals 2A to 2F are connected landside (i.e., before security) via walking corridors, and you can walk between most of them in about 5 to 15 minutes (recommended). You can also use the N1 shuttle bus.
Terminal 2G is a satellite terminal, separate from the main Terminal 2 complex. It is not accessible on foot from the other terminals, but can be reached via the N2 shuttle bus from Terminal 2F.
Paris by Train (RER B)
There are two RER B train stations at Charles de Gaulle Airport :
For Terminals 1 and 3
■ Aéroport Ch. De Gaulle 1 station is a few minutes’ walk from Terminal 3.
Passengers using Terminal 1 should take the CDGVAL shuttle train.
For Terminal 2
■ Aéroport Ch. De Gaulle 2 station is a about a 10-minute walk from terminals 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D and 2E, 2F.
Terminal 2G, a satellite terminal, is accessible via the N2 shuttle bus from Terminal 2F.
Main line trains (TGV)
Mainline TGV trains stop at Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 railway station, located at Terminal 2.
Terminals 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, and 2F are about a 10-minute walk from the station.
Terminal 2G, a satellite terminal, is accessible via the N2 shuttle bus from Terminal 2F.
Passengers using Terminals 1 and 3 should take the CDGVAL shuttle train.
Airport Hotels
Most of Airport Hotels can be reached by the CDGVAL shuttle train.
