Getting to & fromRER B (Paris by train)

The Paris public transport network serves the entire city and all its suburbs.
Metro & RER operate 7 days a week, including public holidays from around 5:30am to 12:30am.

Metro

The Paris Metro is the quickest and easiest way to travel around the city, as well as the best value.

Paris Metro has 16 lines, numbered from 1 to 14.
Its network covers the city’s central area thoroughly with more than 300 stops, and its service is reliable and frequent.

RER

The RER is a regional express train network serving Paris and its suburbs. It connects central Paris with outlying areas, including airports such as Charles de Gaulle and popular destinations like Versailles and Disneyland Paris.

There are 5 RER lines, labeled A, B, C, D, and E. Each line has multiple stops across the region. All RER trains call at Paris stations then split into several branches. Faster than the Metro because stops are less frequent, you can cross Paris in 15 minutes.

RER trains have different branches. Be sure to check the electronic boards or platform signs for the correct direction (final destination).
